Edge Weapon Seminar with Ferman Vargas from ICSDA, the International Combatives and Self Defense Association. This was a intensive training in self defense against edge weapons and knife fighting. Great Job Mr. Vargas your an excellent Instructor!

Congratulations to Doreen McGrath for Student of the Year!

Mrs. McGrath has been training at the Mountain Martial Arts Academy for over 10 years. During that time she was attending college to earn her teaching degree, managed a family of 3 children single-handedly for 5 days of the week, while her husband worked down state to support the family. She earned her teaching degree, is gainfully employeed in a teaching position she loves and has earned her 3rd degree black belt all at the same time! Look out Chuck Norris. You may be able to move the earth when you do push ups, but this lady creates her world!! Congrats! We are all proud of you Doreen!
