Renaissance Martial Arts Festival

On October 18th 2008 4 members of the Mountain Academy travel to Rochester NY to Participate in a weekend of intensive training. With 8 hrs. of training on Saturday and 2 more on Sunday, we all left with great memories of the highest caliber instructors, other views on existing techniques and new friends. Mountain Martial Arts Invitational 9/27/08

Celebrating the Mountain Academy's 15 yr Anniversary, the Academy held its 1st annual Invitational tournament. With competitors coming from various part of NY state, Our 1st event was a great success. I would like to thanks Sensei Brooks, Sensei Tolley, and Sensei Lamkins for attending and assistance at the tournament. These instructors and school owners where and large part of what made this event successful. Thanks You for your Support!

EDS Seminar 9/20/08

Senior Lead Instructor from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Georgia, Charlie Moore conducted a tactical self defense seminar at the Mountain Martial Arts Academy. Laughter filled the training hall with Mr. Moore's great sense of humor as the 20 participants engaged in an enlighten seminar of true to life self defense tactics. Along with Mr. Moore, Mike Campos and Tom Arcuri were coordinating and assisting. I'm honored to know and call Charlie Moore a friend. He is truly an instrumental part of what keeps this country safe. Thank You!
